Running face appliance
Using Gelatine, I injected my mould to see if it will be a successful mould. As a result the piece was smooth and had no air bubbles. This meant that my piece will be ready for running in silicone for my practice makeup.
I hadn't drilled any bleeder holes or bolt holes in the eyes. So I will run the piece in gelation again to see what affect it has on the edges around the eyes, as I was ocncerned they wouldn't be thin enough for me to blend away. Alternatively, I could use Stuart Brays method of using cap plastic patches in the eyes.

I drilled bolt holes into the eyes, which will ensure I have a better change of achieving thin, blending edges.
When running a silicone appliance, I used a combination of pigments including: Dark flesh, blue, red and purple flocking.
I was happy with the colour of this piece, however my test makeup will reflect whether it is truly suitable for my model and the overall look I want to achieve.
