Mythology, natural Philosophy

Origins of Mythology are said to date back to Greek times, and before. The Greek Gods such as Zeus were believed to have lived through a time of mythical beasts such as Cyclops, Centaur and Typhon.

A cyclops is a one eyes creature with the body of a man. A centaur is a mans body and arms with a body and legs of a horse. And finally, a Typhon was a part man, part snake whom battled Zeus for sacred land, Cosmos, in order to rule all mortal and immortals. All of which were monsters of Greek Mythology, around the times of the Titans.

This suggests that modern concepts, or characters created in films such as spartacus, are influenced by the findings of these 'Giants'
