Using silicone, I mixed up a total of 100g for both hands. I treated this method like a glove, so that i could ensure all areas were coveres, giving me a more stable cast to work from when producing finger extentions.
Approaching theface first, i mixed up 500g of A+B fro the cverage, I then mixed up a further 200g to add another layer for thickening the cast.

In preparation for lifecasting, I made a bald cap using cap plastic. Using my models head measuremnts, I drew a guideline onto the red head, meaning that the bald cap could fit snugly, making the lifecast more accurate.
-Release red head
-Brush on layer past hairline
-powder between layers
-ocntinue to brush on plastic layers, reducing the surface area each time
-finish with powder
-remove from bald cap by brushing talc onto edges
Using vaseline, I released models eyelashes, brows and hairline.
The bald cap was fitted, witht he hair wrapped underneath.
Lifecasting in Silicone
The overall outcome of this cast was neat and tidy. The plaster bandage shells sit together neatly, which will make it easier to run plaster and fibreglass cores from. As I produced this cast in silicone, i will be able to reuse it to create multiple cores if neccessary.

Casting Hands
Casting Ears

From this image you can see that the resin ears have ear plugs in them, to resolve this and make them look neater for when I re-run these ears, I mixed up a smal amount of 3481 silicone and filled in the negative space in the silicone cast, to avoid the plug being visible again.

To put these ears onto a base, I was going to put the ears back into the silicone moulds, as i know they've come out nicely, and then butld up a clay wall fromt he silicone mould, to create spce for resin to be poured on top, encouraging the resin to connect to the resin ear, ehich I can hopefully remove as one piece. I found it difficcult to get the ears back i the mould, so instead, I will pun the whole ear and base at once, this way I can also be certain that they are successfully attached, ready fr em to scupt on.
To cast my models ears I protected her hair and face with a plastic sheet, which I cut a hole out of which sat around her ear snugly. I then gave her ear plugs to put in herself for comfort. My model then rested her head on the surface, in a comfortable position. I used 3481 silicone which meant this mould was reliable to use multiple times if need be.
