nose and upper lip joined together (early transformation)

canines coming through lip prosthetic, sore and painful

sunken eye sockets enhanced by pertruding brow

receeding hairline with a low hairline down onto forehead - knotted front lace, white yak hair.

I would use Yak hair as it is appropriate as she is transforming into a hybrid.

Scratches on cheek from her own nails, going through the painful process.

Pale coulourless skin. Blue tones blood draining from her skin, she feeds on flesh and requires blood.represent

Blue tone translucent skin, purple mottled tones running to finger tips. Extended fingers, with resin nails embedded within silicone finger tips.

Nail beds are dark with thick bark like textured nails. Grown into a point for hunting adaptation.

What is this creature?

This makeup design reflects my idea of a mythological beast which is yet to be identified clearly. Some of its features are similar to a Wendigo, a mythological creature, unidentified but assumed to look like ahuman hybrid of a beast with a deer head. I chose not to follow this description and create my own. This way, I am certain of my idea being unique.

Design 1

Fine hairs flocked onto tip of ears

Hair punched prosthetic pieces, along nose, brows and hairline.

To create my mid transformation human hybrid, I want to alter key feaatures of the face, which help us to recognise humans. By doint this, my creature will instantly become something other than human.

By softening the differenciation between lip and nose, this encourages a beastly appearance, as dog, deer, cat and bear all have noses joined to their mouthes. I chose to look at these animals, as they are all found ni forests all over the world. This is the environment I have chosen to develop my character concept.

Design 1

Knotted front lace piece.

Silver hair peak, sides blend into models hair (natural black)

Silver hairpiece will run down the centre of models head, creating a long mohawk effect.

Ear tips, coloured ot match cold complexion

Purple tones, mottling/veins on her face.

Backcombing the hair to gain volume was also a helpful method to add texture and enable me to sculpt the hair into an ideal shape. I then pulled out areas infront of the ears, making the hair styling appear softer.

The hair is then pinned up into position, where it will be pinned securely to reinforce the foundation base hair piece. Using my models hair will also help to support the hair piece which will lie down the centre of her head.

This sculpt reflects animalistic features such as a snout and canines. These are key features for my creature which will instantly separate her from human appearance. I extended and pointed the chin to create an elongated look. The top lip also attaches to the snout-like nose, making this look more and possibly move more like an animals, as her lip shal not be visible to show human expressions.

Heavy brow and accentuated cheek bones, sink the eyes to create a more sinister appearance.
