Using my airbrush, I added a couple of drops of TEMPTU silicone based paints and began to spray in a mottled pattern. My intentions were to create a cold, mottled effect, which I thought the airbrush successfully achieved this look with the skin remaining translucent. Only small amounts of paint were applied as I added in white tones between the mottled area. I then continued to try a blue tone on the hand, which I may use to create a cooler look. progressing with the blue, I added in subtle blue tones to cool down the mottled pattern. I think this worked effectively, and with further experimentation alternative materials, I may try using darker tones to deepen the purple. I think this would look interesting and infectious whith her warm skin tone underneath.
