Alumi Seminar - Sammy Gregory
Throughout this session a former student discussed experiences thorughout third year. From this I took on board what was expected of third year and how important time management will be. She also explained any issues she discovered herself slong the way, which put third year into perspective for me.
Sammy was very keen for us to accept her advice on working in advance as many elements such as budget and time plans are affected by this. It was very helpful to have Sammy in to talk to as we were given the opportunity to ask question we may have. I found it interesting how suddenly it appeared that we are expected to spend a large budget to achieve something at Sammys level, however thrrough this,she explained that her camera crew and location became very expensive for her. From this I will try to work cleverly and in advance to ensure I can get my desired location at cheapest cost possible and hopefully with a reliable crew.
