Kryolan Shimmering Vision palette
To create this look i used a white pencil to outline the area I wanted to age. To create depth I used a mixture of black and dark brown Kryolan Supra color parallel to the white line which intatantly highlighted and contoured to give the impression of depth where skin is peeling away.
I also created shadows to give the impression of peeling skin. This helped to add a more realistic and 3D element to the makeup.
To add age, I followed any natural lines created when making different expressions and enhanced them with various shades of supra color. I tried to make the lips appear shrunk in comparioson to the 'younger 'skin on top. I enhanced th ered lip with red liner, and added lashed to make the eye appear bigger. I also tried to create a contrast in eyebrows by running grey tones through the brow and messing up the existent hair.
Overall I think this was a succsfful makeup as it portrayed the idea I originally intended. This howd the idea of society influencing women to stay young to look beautiful, so by revealing an older woman underneath, this gives the idea that we live beneath masks of makeup and products forced on to us.
