Character 3 masked
Similar to Character 2 and looking at age, this collection of images shows different ways in which I can portray 'masked'. I wanted to incorporate age into this makeup to make awareness fro ageism. This would be a representation of a younger pperson trapped in an older body. There are numerous adverts and products rtying to make women look younger - no one wants to be old. I wanted to look into creating a makeup to reflect that age doen't determine how you should look and feel.

Ths idea came from an experiment from using fullers earth in a previous workshop.
I wanted to recreate the idea of a younger personality trapped in an older body. This links to the ageism issue.
Before applying fullers earth, I created a foundation base to create a youthful, clear skin tone. On one side I applied eyeliner and lashes to give a clear contrast between young and mature appearance.
I then applied a thin layer of fulers earth over the majority of my face. I found that this was idfficult as it dried at different times and started to crumble before I had finished applying it.
When applying makuep on top of the fullers earth to try and make it a skin tone ( i shuld have tried to pigment this before hand
