CorsetUsing Kryolan Supra Color, I created the illusion of breasts on a male models chest. By creating depth with a range of colours, I was able to give an impression of fullness of the chest. I then highlighted appropriate areas to compliment the illusion. | CorsetI feel that this was a successful makeup. I decided to keep the facial hair in the original image, to show the lengths bodypainting can go to be believable. I thought this could also be interesting as part of the 'process' of a transgender. |

Darker skin tones to create cleveage shadow
Shadow forming from natural armpit crease to give full impression
Subtle highlights to contrast with the depth of shadow tones
I was happy with the end result of this makeup as I feel the placement and shape was correct. Next tiem I would try to warm up the skin tone sligtly. The corset also helped to give an idea of how the illution must sit and also which areas light would hit.
This makeup would be suitable for stage, particularly a drag/ female impersonation performance. This would be unsuitable for film as there is not ubstance to theis bodypaint as it is only an illusion which works at a head on angle.
If I were to develop this idea, I would make physical changes, such as prosthetic breats to apply to a male model. However I would have to create a core of cheaper and lighter material as pure silicone would be too heavy and expensive.
