Life Casting Silicone

-first batch - 75g each

-second layer - 125g each

 

I chose to use life casting silicone to ensure i could get close detail of the nose and so that I allowed myself plent of time to mould this in fibreglass.

I wanted to make a fibreglass core, as I thought this would develop my skills and knowledge on more apropriate materials for my level.

Also by using silicone, I have the option to use the life cast again if in case of a backup or for use in a different method.

 

The core will enable me to sculpt my half drag makeup plan and inject the mould so that the features i have sculpted remain as one piece. I also think this is a quicker method in the long run.

 

Next time I would lifecast with a bald cap as this would give me a larger core with a neck and full forehead. This would also be easier to work on.
