I looked at these conforming moulds to see if they would be a better method for character 1's face pieces.
This method was appealing to me as there is no risk of ruining edges whilst holding the appliance.
There is also the shape of the conforming mould as it fits to the models face, resulting in a perfect fit. Positioning the appliance is made easier using this method.
I will definitely consider thsi further as I think this could be an extremely effective method for application.

RICHARD REDLEFSEN
This makeup was sculpted and made by makeup artist, Richard Redlefsen. This is his version of Frankenstein's Monster. He designed, sculpted, applied and painted this makeup. The contacts were donated by Howard Berger.
Within this sculpt there is very beautiful fine detail. The textures used vary so broadly that the sculpt looks truly real.
This high quality photo of the sculpt was a good reference image for me when sculpting skin. I can see the range of textures he has created, helping me to decipher which tools I should be using.
This makeup was made by the Legacy Effects team for a T-Mobile advert. This was another take on the perception of Frankenstein's monster.
This version is a lot more comical and typical of hw we imagine this character. His head has a perculiar bulbus shape and he has a green tone in the final application.
